Libby has been working with DPA since its inception. She originally trained as a secondary teacher so has no idea how she ended up with DPA!

Libby specialises in: Payroll, Maori Trust and Incorporation Administration, and Company Administration.

She works part-time to be able to fit in her major passion which is golf. She has been managing both the Bay of Plenty and New Zealand women’s golf teams for the past four years. And says she is lucky that to have employers that allow her the time to be involved in these roles.

Libby has been married for 26 years to David and she has had many messages of sympathy regarding this!!  They have three children - Ben, (Accountant - oh dear!), Sam (Geologist), and Tori (Otago Uni Student).

1. What is your idea of perfect happiness?
Relaxing with family and being on a golf course.

2. What is the trait you deplore in yourself?
Excessive competitiveness.

3. What is the trait you most deplore in others?
Vanity.

4. On what occasion will you lie?
When telling a joke. Maybe to protect family.

5. What is the quality you most like in a man?
Humour, honesty.

6. What is the quality you most like in a woman?
Humour, Honesty.

7. Which words or phrases do you most often use?
Death before dishonour.

8. Which living person do you most despise?
Robert Mugabe.

9. What or who was the greatest love of your life?
My family and sport.

10. When and where are you most happy?
By the shores of Lake Tarawera with those I love the most (probably with a glass of bubbles in my hand!!).

11. What do you consider your greatest achievement?
My children.

12. What is your favourite book?
Tuesdays with Morrie.

13. What is your favourite them for a costume party?
Don’t have one but Paul Wilson loves toga parties.

14. What is your motto?
The only failure in failure is not getting up and having another go.
