Taupo’s Biggest Loser - DPA embraced the opportunity to once again enter into the Taupo community spirit and help fund raise for our charity – The Taupo Women’s Refuge. Our team members, lead by David, include Sarah, Hollie and Matt and their weight loss was steady and sustainable, at least until the chocolate cake comes out! They shed a combined total weight of 26.8 kilos. The challenge has brought out the competitiveness not only within the community, but also within our office where we have another four staff members entering into this health challenge and vying for the DPA Weekly Weigh-in Winner Cup – Dave having won it twice in a row. Our team came third in the fundraising race out of 36 teams, auctioning a signed All Black Rugby Jersey, running a Zumba class and holding a garage sale. Overall we came 14th in the weight loss stakes.
