Short Term Rentals

July 3, 2025

If you’ve listed your home on Airbnb, Bookabach, or rent it out for major events like the Taupō Ironman, Supercars or Wings over Wairarapa you might owe tax — or even need to register for GST.  AirBnB is now sharing information with IRD so you will need to ensure you are compliant and file that tax return. But don’t worry — we’re here to help.

We’ll take a job off your hands and:

  • Provide clarity on what you need to declare

  • Maximise your deductions

  • Provide guidance on when GST applies (and how to manage the risks)

  • Give you peace of mind that you’re staying compliant

  • Utilise options to keep your costs down

We have three options to choose from and all for a fixed fee.
