How to spot an email scam

Wondering how to spot which emails are the scams?
See this email a client received this week.
Two things to look out for are:
1. An email that asks you to login and provides you with the link to do it – this is a big alarm bell, this is how the scammers get your details; and
2. Language is also another giveaway as circled. The title is effectively using the word “Tax” twice – something that we are sure the IRD wouldn’t do and another red flag for us was the word “fiscal” we don’t generally come across this word in the context provided.
Of course if you are unsure if something is a scam, just give us a bell.
