Allan was born and bred (and lives and breathes) the Wairarapa.
He started out in the National Office in Auckland of what is now Perpetual Guardian Trust before returning to Masterton in 1982 joining a local practice. From there he has owned and operated his own Public Practice firms since the mid 80’s before launching his practice Enumerate in 2013 which has now lead him to dpa.
His commitment to the industry is evident, not only in the successful businesses that he has built up, but in the positions he has held over the years as Chairman of local school Boards of Trustees, Director of the New Zealand Institute of Chartered Accountants, Councilor on the Institute’s members Council and Chairman of various national committees and advisory groups of the Institute. Allan is an immediate past member of the Institute’s Disciplinary Tribunal.
Highly respected for his expertise in Trust administration, strategic planning, governance principles and Trusteeship roles, it is this type of work ethic that saw him awarded a Fellowship by Chartered Accountants Australia & New Zealand (CA ANZ) in 2004 for his contribution to the profession.
Allan is a lover of music (shout out to The Beatles) and is a regular on the golf course. He fills his spare time watching rugby, travelling and enjoying walks but his greatest passion always remains ensuring the success of clients in their business endeavors.
