Kayla started her career in banking and discovered working with numbers comes naturally, with her eventually progressing to a Chartered Accountant.
Coming from a family heavily involved in forestry, along with many years working under Paul with his forestry clients, Kayla draws from both her personal and professional experience in this industry offering clients expertise specifically around financing for heavy machinery, budgeting assumptions and managing the ever-changing economic climate that these clients face.
Forecasting is important for any business and Kayla promotes the use of Spotlight reporting for her clients which provides business owners with valuable insight into the future position of the company in a visibly pleasing and easy to understand format.
Working alongside auditors for a number of our clients, Kayla’s attention to details is second to none and she enjoys nothing more than getting those accounts ready for that final sign off.
Out of the office, Kayla is usually sporting her active wear, taking her fur-baby for a walk and running around after her two human babies.
